After renting for 3 years, we decided that this is the place for us and purchased our house (hopefully for a good deal) from our landlord. One of the first things we did to mark this house as ours was give it a face lift with a coat of new paint. Rather than strip off the formstone, we painted it (mom painted it). I have no idea why they ever covered the beautiful brick with formstone, but we tried to make the best of it.

Painting the formstone
Welcome to Duke's Baltimore rowhouse renovation. Duke is a "bawlmer brown dog" (or so they told us when we found him at BARCS) and he loves living in the Locust Point neighborhood of Baltimore city. Duke lives here with his mom and dad and sister/cat Hammie - and we all have a say in making this house a home.
